Dating For Seniors

Here is my recent life story. I lost my father July 5, 2008 to pancreatic cancer. My mother lost her life partner after 62 years. Mom at age 22 years old went from living with her mother to living with dad for the last 62 years. Now adjusting to being alone without her life partner mom is lonely and wants male companionship. Well I cant blame mom for wanting a companion! What's a son to do? Mom has now signed up for two Senior Dating Services. Please share with the AgingParents community your own experiences!

The challenge for older adults in trying to find companions is often overwhelming. They quickly become impatient and easily .disappointed in their search. Young people can often serve as mentors to their elders. Just ask!
